The turning point in her life occurred when she rescued a trafficked child; an experience that forever altered her path and instilled in her an unyielding commitment to rescuing and rehabilitating victims who fall within her sphere of influence.

A Career Timeline

1977

Called to the Ghana Police Service

Began a lifelong career in law enforcement at a tender age, laying the foundation for over four decades of service.

1977–2010s

INTERPOL Accra

Rose to become a distinguished figure within INTERPOL Accra, spearheading initiatives concerning women and children's issues.

Multiple Years

Director, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit

Led the Unit and opened nine additional Anti-Human Trafficking Units across almost every region of Ghana within six years, equipping them with vehicles, computers, furniture, and resources.

2018–2019

Deputy Commandant, Ghana Police Academy

Served as Deputy Commandant and Directing Staff, lecturing on Human Trafficking, Client Care, Community Policing, Surveillance, and Espionage.

Career-Long

Detective Training School

Served as an Instructor and Administrator, shaping the next generation of detectives and investigators.

Career-Long

Bureau of National Investigations (BNI)

Worked across various departments of the Bureau, broadening her investigative and intelligence expertise.

2020–2021

IOM Consultant

Played a consultancy role developing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on Combating Human Trafficking for the International Organization for Migration, and co-developed a Law Enforcement training manual on Human Trafficking.

Present

2nd Vice President, IAWP

Serves the International Association of Women Police at its highest levels, having previously served as IAWP Coordinator for Region 18 (Africa) and International Chaplain of IAWP.
